Officer Reese was killed in a motorcycle accident. Officer Reese was injured when his motorcycle collided with a tractor-trailer. Officer Reese was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries approximately an hour after the incident.

Officer Reese had been employed with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office for nine years and was survived by his wife and son.
